CanadaPathway was built by a team of immigrants from Africa and Asia who paid the fees, survived the confusion, and made it to Canada. We built the tool we wish had existed when we needed it most.
We know what it feels like to sit in front of a government website at midnight, reading the same paragraph for the fourth time and still not knowing if you qualify. We know what it costs — not just in money, but in sleep, in confidence, in trust — when someone who calls themselves a "consultant" takes your savings and disappears.
Between our team members, we have collectively experienced: paying $2,500 to an agency that filed the wrong NOC code and cost us six months; being told by a "regulated consultant" that our CRS score was "not good enough" — when in fact we qualified for a category-based draw that ran three weeks later; watching a friend lose $4,000 CAD to a ghost consultant operating out of Lagos who had a professional website, a registered business name, and zero CICC credentials.
Canada's immigration system is not broken. The forms are publicly available. The eligibility criteria are published. The process is learnable. What's broken is the ecosystem that has grown around that complexity — one that profits from keeping aspiring immigrants confused, dependent, and afraid.
We refused to accept that.
CanadaPathway was created by Latom Consulting Services — a team of immigrants and first-generation Canadians originally from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, India, and the Philippines. Every member of our founding team has personally navigated at least one Canadian immigration pathway: Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, spousal sponsorship, or the post-graduation work permit route to permanent residence.
We are not immigration lawyers. We are not regulated consultants. We are engineers, product builders, and people who got frustrated enough to do something about it.
We built CanadaPathway because we believe that navigating to Canada should not require paying a middleman thousands of dollars to fill out forms that are free, public, and designed to be completed by the applicant. We believe that access to clear, accurate, step-by-step guidance should not be a luxury.
We are based in Edmonton, Alberta — a city that has welcomed tens of thousands of newcomers from around the world — and we are proud to be building this from inside the community we serve.
We will never tell you your chances are higher than they are to earn your money. Every checklist step, every mistake warning, every LOE flag is honest — even when the honest answer is 'this is harder than you think.'
We have been in the WhatsApp groups. We have posted in r/ImmigrationCanada at 2am. We know your questions because they were our questions. That context shapes every feature we build.
CanadaPathway Pro costs $249 CAD — one time, yours forever. The average consultant charges that for a single one-hour call. We made the pricing intentional.
We are not a consultant. We do not represent you. We give you the knowledge and the tools to represent yourself — confidently, accurately, and on your own terms.
CanadaPathway is an information and organisation tool. It is not a law firm, not a licensed immigration consultant, and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal representation or creates a solicitor-client relationship. For situations involving criminal inadmissibility, prior refusals, misrepresentation history, or appeals, please consult a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) at college-ic.ca.
